LAST STOP Working title

A sports-obsessed 13 to 14 year old finds a mysterious old train that appears after hours. The destination board shows only a city and a date. He has to work out why he was sent, and which sporting moment matters.

“Statistics tell you what happened. Being there teaches you what it meant.”

Not a standout athlete: a sports gamer, a stats and strategy nerd, the host of a bedroom sports podcast. The Conductor is older, dry and cryptic, and knows more than he reveals. One rule holds: small human moments can change, but the final score stays.
